Heading to Cancun - Looking for some advice

My family is going to Playa Del Carmen in Aug to the Royal Haciendas. We will be there for 7 nights. I need a recommendation for a place to stay for 2 additional nights. We are flexible, it can be in Playa or Cancun, All inclusive or not. There are 2 adults and 2 children.

I have stayed @ RUI-Cancun. Very nice. It is next to the RUI-Las Americas which is much fancier than the RUI-Cancun.

You lose the sun about 4pm @ RUI-Cancun because building is so tall.

Great shopping across the street.

Nice place to stay - would go again in a minute! Is all-inclusive.
