transport from vienna to villach ? what is best option

please advise me on the best means of transport from vienna or closest station where eurorail can drop us which is closest to the villach . Also pls then on transport from this place to the villach . Also please let me know of ski lessons , ski equipment hire and best deals to use for access to the ski areas available . also what to do for entertainment at night for family with kids ( 3 ) aged 7 to 15 years . Maybe sleigh rides , deboggoning etc .
