Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort
jayjay wrote:Thank you so much. We just returned, we had a wonderful time....the weather was cool, so we did not ride the water taxi, but hear wonderful things about it....there is a bus #11 that takes you up and down the strip. It was great~I`m sure it can`t compare to the Water Taxi. We are looking forward to returning and hopefully the weather will be warmer..Thank you for your help.... Judy WalzWe enjoyed riding the water taxi at the downtown marina .... you can get on and off at different locations with many restaurants to choose from and a mall for shopping.

It is one of the well known beach resorts in Florida with beautiful entry pool. It contains apartment size rooms with sofa bed and hides a bed in the living room. It is very close to the beach. It also has a dance bar and night club where you can enjoy your night life.

We've stayed at the Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort the last 3 yrs. Vinnies Restaurant excellent Italian Food. His bro has a Mexican Restaurant almost next door...very good also. Down the street towards the beach is a great bar that serves good food...nice happy hour, they advertise coconut shrimp front of bar....can't recall name...it's on the right as your going towards the beach. Have a great time. Water taxie is nice, you can get on and off, inexpensive.

it is a very interesting resort:- The Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort is southeast Florida's leading beachfront resort destination.
The resort is centrally located in Fort Lauderdale Beach between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway.
The Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort is a timeshare condominium resort that offers beautiful and spacious vacation rentals.
The resort is only one short block from the beach and within walking distance to a variety of shops, restaurants, nightlife venues, the Galleria Shopping Mall, and Water Taxi, Hugh Taylor Birch State Park, and the Bonnet House Museum and Gardens.
The resort is also conveniently located only 15-minutes away from the Fort Lauderdale Hollywood International Airport and only 7-minutes away from the Fort Lauderdale Cruise Port, Port Everglades.

What I can suggest is to take a walk by the river (Middle River). The view is spectacular, especially at sunset time. Some of the good restaurants in the area are Sublime and Canyon, I also suggest Whole Foods and Café Vico. You can go to Sunrise Boulevard, where the riva apartments (riva-condo) are, and not far away from them is the Gateway shopping center. There are many good restaurants nearby.
