Marriott Aruba

I am looking for info on renting in Aruba in Feb 2012. Thinking of the Marriott Ocean Club (1st choice) or Surf club next. Can anyone tell me which one would be less activity, quietier setting? I have not rented from Owners for many years and just may need a few tips to be sure none are scams. Thanks for any info.
