Shell Points - Standard vs Permanent vs Premier vs Founding

In addition to Shell having some contracts that are Standard (expire at a date - 2049?), there appear to be several variation of Permanent points, at least on original developer sales (permanent, premier permanent, Founding Member Permanent). What are the differences? On resale do these contracts all become generic Permanent points, thereby losing any specific additional perks the original purchaser had? Apparently, Founding Member Points, at least, carried some additional benefits when originally issued (2 year reservation, etc). I know the optional Elite benefits do not tranfer outside the family.
