Has anyone been successful with this?

I am intertesed in converting my deeded week to a points system. Has anyone been successful with this? I have never been provided with a straight answer from my resort.

Has the resort told you how much this conversion would cost?

I own a week and would never consider converting to points . Once you convert you are at the mercy of the resort to decide availability not to mention to increase in maintenance fees . I just called my home resort Tuesday and in less than five minutes I had my week reserved for May 1 st .

I have converted to vacation points every year 3 years in a row, you have to do every year but first year you pay. I like this because I use in chunks not weeks.
