We rented from Mariott and our rental was overlooking to pool. Was that a garden view unit?

Depending on the location of the room, the view could have been either Courtyard or Garden.

Both, Oceanside units and Garden units look at pools. The garden units are about one block away from the beach, where the pool with the slide is. The oceanside units are the blocks adjacent to the beach and reception area.
