Could someone please comment on the construction noise at The Marriott Ocean Club? There are several posts on Tripadvisor that are not good. We hope to visit late Feb or early March. Is it also possible that I rent two oceanview units and end up on ground floor with no view? Thank you!

The room renovation project has stopped and will resume again August 2020 to finish the last two bottom floors. Marriott letter to owners said not enough work permits issued by the Aruba government to complete the project in 2019 and thus will stop during the busy season.

Just got back and you could hear some noise while at true pool - they are still working on floors 1 and 2 - but not too bad

We are currently (Oct 2025) staying at Surf Club. Construction is ongoing at all three Marriott properties - Surf, Ocean and Stellaris Hotel. Ocean pool is closed, staging lifts and ropes along outside, they are replacing roof….yes there is significant noise. Surf club lighthouse tower lower floors being renovated now- constant jackhammer sound during daylight hours loud at pool BUT not audible when on beach. Hotel seems to be worst for noise having crews working almost round the clock. I was told the renovation is behind schedule so crews were working longer hours. If you are looking for peace and quiet, I recommend you delay your trip to at least December. Just my opinion🌴😎
