time share (s) for sale

Feb 22, 2021

I was told by my time share sales director that I do not require a lawyer to sell my time share. I post my time share for sale, come to an agreement with the buyer and they handle the paperwork. I just want the title transferred from me to the new buyer. Sounds relatively simple. Does anyone have an opinion on this?

You are correct in that you do not need a lawyer to sell your timeshare. Once you do find a buyer or taker, you can contact a legitimate transfer company to handle the paperwork. The buyer does not do that.

You can try the company that RedWeek recommends --- First American Title. Another recommended on is Legal Timeshare Transfers.
