I have been advised that there is now a Resort Fee which is not mention in the rental details. Is this correct?

Yes there is a resort fee if you are not an owner. I believe the resort fee is $19.99 plus tax. I recommend calling SLBI direct.

No, there is not unless you try to book more than 13 months in advance.
