But doesn’t RedWeek require that you rent for an entire week? As pricey as AirBnB can be, I usually only need 1 to 3 nights when I’m looking for a booking.

I'm an owner and have put up long weekends as well as full week vacations for people to choose from. Basically, you are just looking at what we, as owners, have tried to figure out that you, as the guest, want to have available. We are even able to make adjustments if you reach out concerning a particular location and time that you see. That depends on what you are looking for and if we choose to make the change but the answer is always no if you never ask.

The Airbnb also usually has their calendar up to date so you don't have to wait for an owner to get back to you to let you know if your dates are available plus the price always varies on here

Fees for Airbnb and Vrbo are CRAZY! It’s so deceptive to see the per night price and then once the fees are added in it’s so much more!

I used Airbnb to rent a place for a reunion with my daughters in Grimsby Ontario we were appalled at the filth in the unit, no linens, smelled of cigarette smoke etc. we could not even stay there. The pictures of the place advertised did not match the actual place. They refused to to refund our money so I called my bank and they reversed the charge on my Visa. Thank goodness!! We had to find a hotel to stay in. I have used Redweek several years ago in Vegas and we were thrilled with the unit. It was gorgeous!

Redweek is great IF they are located where you want to go. Airbnb has many more units in more locations. I would choose Redweek over Airbnb when both are in the area I need to be mainly because of airbnb's exorbitant (and inconsistent) "cleaning" fees. IMO Cleaning a rental should be a given not an extra fee! Half the time I re-clean it myself and always leave it clean as well.

Redweek is best but not found in as many locations. The airbnb "cleaning" fees really irk me. They are not consistent and I usually re-clean the place anyway. I always leave it clean, too. IMO: The reviews don't seem as genuine on airbnb either.

I have always been impressed with all of my redweek rentals, and they are always a great price too. While Redweek date ranges/availability are not as abundant than Airbnb, Vrbo, etc, their quality and the experience is always the best. So I always start with Redweek and hope there are dates available when I want to travel. I even got lucky Dec 21-25 (4 nights) in Marco Island FL this year 2022. Usually timeshare owners post their whole week, so I assume this owner will stay 3 nights themselves.
