MVC resale post question

Hello - question about the MVC points for sale listings - confused where says "first use year 2023" then also "buyer to pay maintenance fees for first use year". Does this mean the seller wants to be reimbursed for the 2023 fees already paid? We became MVC points owners last year and fees were due/paid in Jan. Asked on one listing but reply didn't address that question.

example - Next use: 2023

Maintenance fees 2023: $913.92

*Closing costs and transfer fees are to be paid by the buyer*

*Buyer to pay maintenance fees for first year of usage*

"They are to be reimbursed to the seller since you would be getting 2023 usage."

If I want to sell points through Redweek and somebody wants to buy, what happens after that? Who handles the paperwork necessary to complete the transaction. Lee C
