Marriott Right of First Refusal

I have a Marriott Time Share I wish to sell and I know Marriott has a "right of first refusal" (RFR). So many of the open on-line listings for my time share are from $500 to $4,000. Marriott sells my time share week for $8,900 if I put it with Marriott for resale. It would seem to make sense for them to exercise the RFR for any potential sale of $4,000 or less since they would then ask $8,900 and eventually make $4,900 which would be more than if it was in their resale program.

Does anyone have experience with Marriott's RFR and if so what sale price did they match?
