How long is the beach and is it relatively flat (so you can jog near the water without one leg being lower than the other)?

There is a wonderful walking or jogging path directly across from Windward Pointe. It goes for several miles. All concrete and level. All are directly on the Atlantic and totally unobstructed views. The best beach in the area is about 1/4 to1/2 mile away. Currently, there is some road construction at the beach area but ample parking across the street from the beach or a pleasant walk from Windward Pointe.
