Do the pool areas and beach have enough beach umbrellas or palm trees to provide shade for everyone?? And is it necessary to get up early every morning to “reserve” a beach chair or palapa by putting towels down??

Yes plenty of shade umbrellas and each chair has an umbrella top.

Beach is lined with 10' Shade Cabanas. They are anchored and permanent. Beach Volleyball and Bar/Food is located close to the Beach Entrance. This is a big complex with plenty of room to spread out.
