I am coming with grandchildren for a few days. How easy it to access the Air and Space Museum and other Smithsonian museums?

The museums are 4-9 miles from the resort. They are all on the Metrorail & metrobus lines or a short Uber/drive. It would be advisable to inquire about the requirements to visit each location in advance as some may require reservations or specific entry times.
