Buying, Renting, and Selling Timeshares

Why are there listings past the check in date? And or super close to them?

Apr 12, 2025

I've noticed listings that are confusing. I saw a 10 day listing that started April 11, which was yesterday. Why would it still be listed? Does that mean it didn't rent and the lister is hoping someone makes contact to rent for less than 10 days? Does that mean the lister is using the week themselves and never bothered to delete the listing? Or does that mean Red Weeks system didn't delete it?

Likewise, I see a listing for the same resort that starts in 2 days on the 14th of April for 7 nights, and a 3rd listing that starts April 15, so in 3 days. Do people really think units will rent with not even enough time to pack?

Trying to understand. Thanks for your help
