We often stay here in late Summer before the kids go back to school and enjoy the many activities offered in the area. The resort is very charming and the grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Amenities can't be beat with multiple BBQs, a game room, sauna, two hot tubs, a heated pool, free bike rentals and parking. The Kitzbuhel suite is cozy and has all of the comforts you'd want or need. The staff is great and there are mostly owners who visit so it's very chill. The area is outstanding for activities in and around the Olympic Valley!

Perfect location - near everything (walking distance) but not in the heart of everything or the crowds. Small, quiet, clean, friendly - feels like home.

This resort is great for a winter ski trip. Complimentary shuttle takes you to Squaw Tram entrance, The Village, and plenty of restaurants. The Suite was clean and cozy, a Tyrollean theme gives it a European flair, looked like like it was recently updated. We had a balcony which was nice for taking in fresh air and enjoying the views of the slopes with a glass of wine or beer. The kitchenette with fridge, microwave, sink and dishwasher allowed us to bring extra items to eat and drink. Pool was heated, hot tubs around the resort. Fitness center was adequate. There's a private lounge with fireplace where we sat and met other guests. Kids enjoyed the game room. Overall, we really liked staying here and would go back again!

We have enjoyed Olympic Village Inn for over 30 years. It is wonderful during winter as the skiing is close by and fabulous. Being there in the spring and fall is enjoyable as well. Many great memories over the years were made at OVI.

Very nice resort. It is built like a winter lodge. My wife and I stayed there in the spring and it was beautiful. It's not luxurious, but it has everything you might need. Close to golfing, kayaking, swimming (cold water), and the mountain.

Great location! Walkable to the slopes of Palisades Tahoe. The swimming pool and Jacuzzi's are newly remodeled. Great to relax in after a fabulous day skiing or snowboarding!

OFFERING BOTH A SUMMER AND WINTER WEEK IN A HISTORIC MOUNTAIN INN. OVI over my 30+ year ownership has been a continued delight. The location is easy to access (approx 12 miles south of Truckee, CA), and located steps from Palisades ski resort and it's stunning village. My family and I have long enjoyed the amenities of the property, especially the swimming pool, bbq facilities and free bike rental. For the winter week we are offering, ready shuttle bus conveyance over to the slopes. OVI housed the competitors of the 1960 Winter Olympics, giving the property a world notoriety. Overall landscape beautifully maintained.

Resort is great - heated pool and arcade game room for kids, large courtyard with lots of snow to play in. A little dated, but has everything you need!

OVI is a resort created from the athlete housing during the 1960 Squaw Valley Olympics. Now a full service resort, OVI sits at then end of the valley with beautiful mountain views, shimmering aspen trees, the sounds of a bubbling stream just outside your suite along with a beautiful pool plus several hot tubs to relax in. The staff is anxious to provide anything you need, plus directions and information on places to go and what to see. Lake Tahoe is just a short drive away as is Truckee with it's shops, galleries and great restaurants. Irish pub, more shops, galleries, plus the gondola up to the site of Olympic venues...all at your doorstep. OVI will be an unforgettable trip into the mountains of eastern California.

This resort is located in the heart of Olympic Valley, within walking distance of the Palisades ski area. No need to walk though, as a shuttle runs throughout the day.

This is an absolutely beautiful setting at the base of the mountain in Squaw Valley. Each unit has been updated and has one bedroom and a sleeper sofa for up to another two guests. The pool and spa area and BBQ's are beautiful and make for awesome afternoon and evening barbecuing! Also, parking is free and you are a ten minute drive to Lake Tahoe.

Summer week in a beautiful mountain and Lake Tahoe vacation area. Resort also has pool, hot tubs, bikes and activities. Close to Lake and shopping.
