This is a fabulous mid-Cape location, with easy access to either to the Islands or Provincetown. We walk to the private beach and watch the 7/4 fireworks from our private balcony 4/7 years. This week leading up to the holiday has much less traffic! The furniture and bedding are recently updated.

This condo (#12) is the best of all the condos. It was the model unit for all sales at Colonial Acres. It looks out over Lewis Bay where you can watch the ships come and go with passengers from Martha's Vineyard and Nantucket islands.Colonial Acres offers activities such as crafts, Ice cream socials, pancake breakfast, etc. Colonial Acres has a private, quiet beach on Lewis Bay where you can relax and catch some rays from the sun. Itis also very convenient to shopping and restaurants.

We have been vacationing at this resort for over 20 years. The location is prime for either a quiet stay at the cape or to venture out from to explore all the cape has to offer. The cottage really feels like a home away from home and is modern yet quaint.

Excellent location with Adirondack chairs, grill and picnic table in front of cottage. Full kitchen and linens included. Short walk to beach. We enjoyed fishing and kite flying. 5 min drive to Hyannis. Family friendly. We have stayed here for almost 30 years and with family and friends and always look forward to our return.

Just bought a second week here. I own 2 cottage units and just love this place. A pleasant walk over a wooden bridge leads to a nice sandy beach. It feels like real Cape Cod here. The resort is situated in a residential area, but only about a mile to town. Free internet access is now available. Colonial Acres is only open from the middle of April through Thanksgiving week.

We own week 47 at a 2 bedroom cottage. It is a great time to be there during Thanksgiving week. It is exactly what you would imagine a Cape Cod Cottage to be like. Several times we have had Thanksgiving Dinner at Plimouth Plantation and other times have prepared it ourselves in our full kitchen. It is a wonderful kick off to start Christmas shopping and is still mild enough to walk on the quiet beach everyday.

We have owned a 2-bedroom, 1-bath, full kitchen cottage since 1996, week 31. Resort is very low- key, relaxing and quiet. Short walk to beach on Lewis Bay - water is shallow and warm, great for kids. Bring water shoes though.

Green grassy areas for kids to play as well as a playground. There are planned activities every day for the kids and grown-ups that are quite fun (tie-dye t-shirts, gel candle making, etc.) Ice cream social and bingo; movies to rent for $1. Large indoor pool has shallow end for youngsters but is deep enough for grownups. Workout room, laundry room.

Resort is located at end of a dead end residential road, away from the sirens and traffic of busy Route 28 but still close enough to head out for shopping, great meals or mini- golfing. Pirate's Cove mini-golf is great fun!

There is lots to see and do on the Cape and Colonial Acres is very centrally located. The resort abuts a large piece of conservation land, so no noisy neighbors. Cottontail bunnies, turtles, blue herons, all can be seen every morning and evening.

Daily trash collection and fresh towels delivered. Staff is very accomodating.

We love it here and look forward to coming every year!

We own two units--week 26, 2 bedrooms, sleeps 6, and week 33, 3 bedrooms, sleeps 8. Both units are two stories, with a patio on the ground floor and a balcony on the second floor. There are two large, full bathrooms in each unit, and the rooms are a comfortable size. In addition to offering on-site activities, the resort is close to all shopping, restaurants, and entertainment, and you can reach any part of the Cape within an hour or less. We've owned there for six years and LOVE IT!!

Short walk to the beach, but it is often very windy, water is very shallow and I have never seen a lifeguard there.
