We stayed the same pre-Labor Day week
(#34) in both 2002 and 2003 at
Grandvista's Cedar Ridge at the Woods.. we
like this week in Branson.. the kids are back in
school.. the traffic is less congested.. the
shopping and shows are more easily available..
We stayed in a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom, 2-
level, screened balcony, lock-out unit... the
recent prior reviews well state my opinion and
observations... spacious, clean, comfortable
units... competent, friendly staff for
registration, housekeeping and maintenance...
great location with good access to the
theaters and shopping via secondary roads..
attractive, well maintained, clean grounds... a
varied and interesting activities schedule
including the bluegrass fiddle session,
owner/exchanger dinner with show review, ice
cream parties, breakfast buffet, etc..
I think that Branson is a WONDERFUL travel
destination.. a great variety of shows that are
well performed, wholesome family
entertainment, entertainers that appreciate
their audience and are accessable for meeting
and greeting, wonderful vistas, interesting
natural attractions, Sunday morning religious
services in the theaters, recognition of our
military veterans... as Yakov would
say.. 'what a WONDERFUL country!!!' I rate
the city and the resort a 9.. Joe Tragesser
