Nestled in one of Vail’s most coveted locations, this condo building may show its age, but its location truly can’t be beat. Just steps from the ski lifts, vibrant village shops, and world-class dining, it delivers the quintessential Vail lifestyle that buyers seek.

Location in Vail can’t be beat!! Especially if you have a large family or group. Easy walk to Gondola with your gear or take the vail shuttle to ski the other end of Vail. Restaurants, cafes, and grocery stores all are a 2 minute or less walk from this unit. Oh I need to mention… free parking is included!! This 2 story Condo is wonderful has everything you need for a wonderful stay! Don’t worry about hauling your luggage up stairs, the elevator will give you access to both floors of the condo!! 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, and a loft with 2 twin beds, and a queen sofa bed, made our stay spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed sipping hot chocolate by the fireplace after relaxing in the hot tub. We will definitely stay here again!!

  • Large, comfortable unit in the heart of Lionshead Village. Walk to restaurants and shops. The end of summer is beautiful in Vail Valley!

Great Location. Relative bargain for Vail. This is the only Timeshare complex on the Vail mountain that is truely in easy walking distance to the lifts and gondola. It's steps from restaurants, shops, and even an outdoor and one indoor iceskating rings. The complex was recently remodeled, but it is not as "mountain looking" as some of the other high end condos and hotels in Vail Village and Lionshead. Only a few of the units are timeshares. The non-timeshare units sell for around $1,000 per sqft, with many million+ units in the complex, and winter weeks in the non time share units rent for $400-500+ / night during high season winter months. The timeshare units rent for at least 20-25% less Most timeshare units have great mountain views and large sunny decks. Get one that faces the mountain. There are two jacuzzis and free, convenient, covered parking.

Date of visit: Mid-January 2005 for a week.

Vantage Point is an older property in Lionshead village. The location is great for walking to the Lionshead Gondola, but the complex is almost next to I-70, which can be loud.

We had a 2-bedroom, 2 bath unit that was very spacious and functional. But the unit AND the property in general needed some improvements and upkeep. Lots of peeling paint, worn handrails, walls, trim, etc. It just looked "ratty" all over! We now know why it's the cheapest condo for rent that's "walk to lifts". Lionshead Village itself is embarking on a major renovation and "rebuilding" of some of the properties. I wish Vantage Point was included in the plans!

Our unit was on the 1st floor up from the underground garage, so our view facing East was of the "snow mound" from the Lionshead parking structure. Not too pretty......but I'm sure that the higher-up units had much better views.

Outside pool was closed for the winter, but the 2 outdoor hot-tubs were always crowded after a day on the slopes. Yessssssssssssss....

Our assigned ski locker in the garage was filled with fishing equipment, so we could not use it for our skis.

Our rental unit only had a VCR, so despite bringing our own DVD's from home, we had to run to the (close by) Blockbuster for VHS movie rentals.

We wouldn't mind staying here again because it's cheap, but most folks would be better off spending a little extra $$$ to get a nicer place in Lionshead or Vail Village.

The Vail Village shuttle was almost right outside the complex--very convenient to get into Vail Village for dinner, shopping, etc. The shuttle to Beaver Creek is on the other side of Lionshead, but for $5, it was worth it not to drive over and fight the BC parking lots (and add'l parking fees!).

Vantage Point Condominiums are located a short walk (about 150 yards) from the high speed Gondola and from chair 8, a high speed quad. There are only 9 timeshare units out of 50 or so units in this spacious complex, which has covered parking, two jacuzzis, sauna, and a large pool. A couple of minutes walk from the ice arena, many shops and restaurants, and next to a stop of the free Town of Vail bus that in a few minutes gets you anywhere in Vail, the location is hard to beat. All the units tend to be spacious, have nice mountain views, and are well maintained. Covered parking is free, but you don't really need a car in Vail. Everything is within walking distance or you can take the free bus that runs every few minutes. Vail is expensive, but the enormous variety of terrain, from wonderfully maintained, groomed easy access runs for begginers and intermediates, to the acres and acres of powder filled back bowls, coupled with the Vail Village ambiance makes it one of the best ski resorts in the world.
