This is one of the resorts we return to over and over again when we visit the Sedona area. The red rock views are all around you and spectacular! Many trails to hike and lots of archeological sites to explore if you are interested.

The units are well equipped and the grounds are beautifully maintained. The concierge team is very knowledgeable and helpful to make this a vacation to remember

OUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY HAVE ENJOYED STAYING AT THE RIDGE FOR YEARS! AWAY FROM THE BUSYNESS OF SEDONA , IT IS A PLEASURE TO RELAX BY ONE OF THE 2 POOLS OR ENJOY THE WONDERFUL VIEWS FROM OUR PATIO OR DECK. LATER ,WE CAN HEAD INTO SEDONA OR TO A NEARBY RESTAURANT FOR BREAKFAST, LUNCH OR DINNER. GROCERY SHOPPING IS CLOSE-BY TO STOCK THE FRIDGE WITH SNACKS, DRINKS OR WHATEVER WE NEED TO PREPARE A MEAL WHEN WE CHOSE TO COOK HERE. THE UNIT IS SPACIOUS AND HAS ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING ONE NEEDS FOR A WEEK'S VACATION IN THE SOUTHWEST... EVEN A WASHER /DRYER ! HIKING TRAILS ARE CLOSE BY ...THE LOCATION IS BEAUTIFUL AND CONVENIENT TO ALL SIGHT SEEING! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE RIDGE ON SEDONA GOLF RESORT AND PLAN TO VISIT AGAIN SOON!

We truly enjoyed our visit to the Resort. Our room was on the second floor with a view of the golf course from the balcony. The kitchen was very nice sized with all the items needed to prepare our meals. The living, dining and bedroom appeared to be newly updated. Colors were on the dark side but the furniture was easy to care for. The resort has two pools for enjoyment and we noticed a spa tucked away on the hillside from our front door, another was located in another location. Check-in went very well and we stopped by the concierge desk for a brief moment. Of course we were asked what we were hoping to do while in Sedona. Only item on our bucket list was a bi-plane trip with Sedona Air Tours. Then of course we were offered a reduced rate if we would attend the presentation. The presentation was not high pressure, and the sales staff understood why we were not interested. Our travel plans fill up many months a year, and between our exchanges and renting thru Tug and Red Week, there is no need for further investment. We missed lounge areas outside. Our BBQ area was very small with only one grill (one disappeared) and one picnic type table. Our additional visits to five star resorts have included fire ring pits and conversation seating for visiting or just relaxing outside your unit and Wi-Fi without a charge. We paid $30.00 for a weeks usage. What a lovely place to visit, the scenery is breathtaking!

Stayed for the second time at The Ridge on Sedona Golf Resort. TOTALLY impressed with the beautiful renovations, great heated pool, easy computer access, and beautiful views. The Village of Oak Creek actually has a lot of RED ROCKs. Totally awesome stay. PS, the most wonderful beds, I had to take a peek to see what kind of mattresses they had!

We traded into this resort and stayed in a 2BDR unit near the main office. Did not realize how far Oak Creek was from Sedona, which was a bit of a minus on the location. However, some of the natural attractions are down in the direction of Oak Creek anyhow. Similar to some of the other reviews, we did experience a full blown sales blitz for units, tours, etc. and it puts a sour note on the experience as the last thing you want to do after driving for 10 hours is get bombarded like that.

The unit we stayed in was clean and well formatted. It was a 2BDR lockoff and both had full kitchens. The main bathroom has was very large and had multiple access doors. The kitchen was well done and had every modern amenity. We did not have a view and I suspect that as a non-owner we were put into one of the lower elevation units that just stare out to a grassy bank. Parking was tight as others have suggested, but we never arrived to find all the spots full. Furthest we had to walk was about 1-2 units down. Trust me, you can find much more challenging parking in Timeshares.

Facilities were crowded. I was fortunate to start my BBQ dinner before the big rush, but had about 4 other dads waiting to cook by the time I was finished. They definitely need to expand some of these features. The pool did have a nice view of the mountains. We did not spend alot of time there as we are outdoor people and did alot of hiking and swimming in the area.

Having been a little dubious about timeshares in general and some reviews I read on trip advisor my husband and I were pleasantly surprised during our stay here. The staff was helpful at all times, even checking to see if we were happy with our accommodations after we checked in. The concierge desk was also exceedingly helpful and always steered us in the right direction whether it was about activities or good restaurants in the area. Hot tubs were plentiful and clean, as were the pools. View was spectacular.

Where do I start! Just finding a parking place for check in was a challenge. Once inside, there were four people at the activities counter waiting to sell you tours, etc. However, only on person at the front desk with four to five parties waiting. Our unit was "down the hill" from the main resort. I nice walk if you want to go to the spa or heated pool. Our vie from our balcony was of the parking lot. In fact, you could reach over the railing an touch the car in front of your unit. Working ice machines were impossible to find. the front desk said they were frozen due to the cold weather. However, it was a high of 52 so I do not think that was the reason.

Our unit had all the ambiance of a Comfort Inn. Old carpet and Formica counter tops. The shower was very big, but since the shower head did not swivel, you had to stand right next to the wall to get wet.

Part of our check in instructions was a sheet stating if we did not collect the garbage, wash the dishes (no dishwasher) and pick up the place, we could be charged up to $35. Never heard of that before at a nice timeshare. How minor league and intimidating on their part!

This is a Diamond resort, but it is more of of a Cubic Zirconia.

We always take long weekends to Sedona, and The Ridge on Sedona Golf Course is always our first choice. We will go to The Summit if we have to, but The Ridge on Sedona Golf Course is far superior. The rooms are spacious and the accomodations are great. The views from The Ridge on Sedona Golf Course are also the best to be had there.I don't really care for The Summit since it has been renovated. The colors are too dark, and the rooms look smaller, also the jacuzzis they have installed are half the size that they had before they renovated.

We just returned from this Sunterra resort. First, we were disappointed that it was not IN Sedona, but in Oak Creek Village. This is at least a 20 min. drive on 2 lane road.

We had an efficency in bldg. 4. The unit was nice enough for 2 people, would have been crowded with 4. Some stains on carpet, but otherwise in good condition. Shower only in bathroom. No stove in efficencies - a 2 burner would have been nice. Biggest negative was the lack of parking closeby. There are 5 spots designated for this building, which has 12 units. (Two were being used as models, tho). The other parking was a block away. There are lots of steps here to get to either parking area.

My husband enjoyed the golf course. A little pricey, but not as bad as where we live. The restaurant at the golf course was excellent for both breakfast and lunch.

Overall a nice resort. We would try one closer to uptown and the 'Y' next time.

We recently exchanged into a two bedroom at the Ridge. We brought along relatives that used the studio lock-out, giving each family privacy. We liked the Ridge so much that we bought a two bedroom resale off eBay.

If you've not yet been to Sedona, you have missed one of the finest locations in the country. This resort has wonderful views of the red rocks as well as an excellent golf course.

We have never walked up to a swimming pool before. We were wondering why. When we reach the top, we found out. The scenery all around us was "red rock". Bell Rock was to the left of us just like other rock formations. We had breakfast on the balcony overlooking the golf course. This is defenitly "Paradise.
