We own timeshares in Las Vegas on the Strip, in the French Quarter (penthouse), and a 3 unit Penthouse at the Surrey Grand Crowne. Of all the places, we love this place best. It is relatively quiet, ample, convenient parking, spacious layout, a great view overlooking the golf course and to the strip, with all of the amenities in place now, and relatively close at 1/2 mile to the middle of the strip. The shows provide really good entertainment for the costs, especially during the early-to-mid November period for the Christmas shows. Further the surrounding area provides much outdoor activities for all ages. The Surrey Grand Crowne provides a great location for all of this and facilitates a very relaxing vacation.

This is a very nice facility with a good staff and easy access to shows and restaurants in Branson. Nearby Table Rock lake is beautiful - great for fishing and other water recreation. Beautiful golf courses and more. Good family place to vacation, without the big city bustle.

We own many timeshares, and for a quiet getaway, this is the one. The staff is ever so helpful and our rooms are very quiet. It is easy to get to activities, and the shows are fabulous. We have never encountered a problem and have been owners since 1999. We highly reccommend it!

Enjoyed our stay here very much! Staff was very friendly and helpful. The units are nicely decorated. The kids loved the jacuzzi tub! We were not pressured to listen to any timeshare presentation, they asked we said no thank you and that was it! I think the location was great because it is tucked away right off the golf course.

I would not return to this resort. There was one indoor pool here. To go to an outdoor poor, which is our preference, we had to drive to another resort and the two outdoor pools there were very small and were crowded at the time. This resort shouldn't even be open until it has all of the amenities that a full service resort is expect to have. We didn't find out about the indoor pool until AFTER we booked the vacation.

We had a problem right outside of our unit where there was a beeping that occured when the fire alarm system got wet from the rain. We heard it thru the night and there was no getting away from this sound until maintenance came in the morning to reset it. After this happening at least 4x during our week long visit, they finally called out someone from the fire alarm company to see what the problem was.

In the morning, the maids' storage room was right by a window where my two daughters were sleeping and every morning, they were woken up at 7:30 a.m. from the maids talking and laughing. Every morning, the garage for the maintenance vehicles was under our unit and they woke us up every day at 7 a.m.

The bathrooms looked like they were not vacuumed before our arrival as there was quite a bit of hair on the floors of all 3 bathrooms. The blinds in the living room broke when we tried to close the blinds our first night and maintenance had to come the following morning to take the down and repair them.

I have stayed at Fairfields, Westgate Lakes, and other resorts over the last 7 years, and this by far is at the bottom of the list of places we would come to again. We would like to come back to Branson, but not to the Surrey Grand Crowne Resort.

We own at this resort and have been very happy with all that it has to offer. We like the many pools, tennis courts and childrens activities. It is in a great location. We have found the rooms to be clean and the staff very helpful. We like this resort so much that we are considering trading our one bedroom for a two or three bedroom.

Great location, quiet, away from traffic since it is a couple blocks off the main highway, and right in the heart of the entertainment district.

Some amenities not yet available on-site such as outdoor pool (there is an indoor pool) but another Surrey outdoor pool is available not far away. Beautiful units, very new resort still in the process of construction so you may be the first person in your unit.

I am sorry to read that "betty272" had such a bad experience here. It is NOT typical and I have never had such experiences in the 4 times I have stayed at this resort. Check-in is also now done right at the resort and not at Town Center.

Don't spend your days in sales meetings - it is not required! Get out and enjoy the shows and the outdoors, that's what you go to Branson for! Look at the activities list on the Grand Crowne website: http://www.grandcrowneresorts.com/countryclub.htm . .

This Branson resort should be called The "SORRY" Resort!! This is "the WORST" so called "5 star" resort we ever vacationed. We exchanged a week here to try out a handicapped/pet unit. We brought our little dog and hoped that we would not have to walk far. We were promised that since we have such horrible disabilities in our legs preventing us from extensive walking that we would have a nice unit with grass nearby. The grassy area was not outside the patio doors(as promised). Well we hiked over 600 feet 3 to 4 times a day to walk our dog. The handicap parking was located many feet away.

The check-in was a "two hour MESS". People were wandering around with lost looks on their faces. The staff was rude and kept telling us that they were understaffed. The check-in files shuffled from one check-in location to another.

We arrived at The Surrey Town Center at 6pm and finally got the keys to the lockout unit at 8:30pm. Once we got to the unit, the credit card like keys didn't work. It took over 7 cards before we finally had one that worked. When we checked in, we were told there was new construction and re-assured that we would not hear anything ...WRONG!! We had a unit RIGHT BESIDE the construction site!!! We were rudely awoken by bandsaws buzzing away every morning promptly at 6am. We kept telling the front desk but nothing was done.

Then we dealt the terrible "PRESSURED" timeshare presentations and SALES PITCHES. We were told that it was only supposed to be a 90 minute presentation. The crazy meeting turned out to be a 4 hour SALES INTENSIVE TOUR. We got up to leave and we were dragged back. They would not take "no" for an answer. Then to make matters worse, we insisted that we wanted to give our opinion of the resort. We were told that we could attend a POST tour for 1 hour. YEAH, right, it turned out to be 2+ hours and another sales TRAP for Surrey's STUPID $7000 travel club. BEWARE!!! IT's a RIP OFF!!!

We spent over 8 hours in presentations this week. And our poor little dog spent her week inside a nasty dirty room Surrey assigned us. The B unit or handicapped unit was stripped of carpet and left with filthy flooring. Our socks became caked with dirt from the floor and we could smell the dirt from the floors. The toilet never flushed properly.

The only good thing that can be said about this resort...they have nice little soaps and comfortable beds. Once we got through the SALES "GAUNLET" of presentations, we really NEEDED a comfortable bed to CRASH!!!

We have decided to NEVER RETURN TO THIS "SORRY" RESORT. In fact, we decided to go to another low pressure friendly timeshare presentation. And we bought a much nicer timeshare week at the French Quarter in Branson.

Since Surrey Resort imposes a $75 fee for late checkouts, we decided we had enough and checked out a day early to avoid yet, another hassle. We tried to see if Surrey even cared about our concerns and presented our problems to the manager. But he really didn't care about our inconviences. We informed him about posting an honest review about our stay and he wasn't the least bit concerned.

Well, this was our experience and we REFUSE to be treated so RUDELY. We also feel that this resort discriminates against handicapped people and gives us the shoddy, dirty sub-standard units. It's TERRIBLE. WE ARE DISABLED VETS. AND IT's DISGRACEFUL!!!

I am an owner at this property and go every year. The property is in the process of being built so you have to go to the other property to use some of the amenities. Carriage Place is less than 3 minutes drive so not a big deal. The resort overlooks Thousand Hills golf course. I am not a golfer, but I understand this to be a nice course. Quieter than some of the other resorts due to being several blocks off the "76 strip". Units are beautifully furnished and the staff is very willing to assist guests in any manner. Lost of things for kids to do...mini golf, water park,go carts and Silver Dollar City theme park is about a 15 minute drive in the Ozark mountains.
