Macdonald Villacana Resort Reviews & Ratings

We had a wonderful time. The timeshare was beautiful, as was the area. We had a 2 bdrm, 2 bath unit close to the pool/restaurant. It was nicely furnished, well laid-out and very comfortable.

There were activities and coach trips organized for every day so that we could see as much of the surrounding countryside as we would like. We visited Gibraltor, Mijas and Morocco. All three trips were great.

We ate at the restaurant almost every night and enjoyed the entertainment that was provided on a couple of evenings.

We also had fun just walking around. We walked down by the Sea and we visited the nearby town of Cancelada (just across the overpass).

We ran out of time long before we ran out of things to do, so we plan to return first chance we get.

Macdonald Villacana is an excellent choice if you are looking for a base from which to explore Andalucia. The units are modest but clean and comfortable and the grounds lovely. Day trips to Gibralter, Seville, Ronda easy to do.
