We were pleasantly surprised with this smaller, quaint resort next door
to Casa del Mar. I was amazed by the size of the Studio that we
exchanged into. It has two queen-size beds & a huge bathroom. I have
never stayed in a studio this big. The resort was recently renovated, so
even though it is one of the 1st timeshare resorts on the island, it has a
nice face lift. The only negative thing I can say is that they need to do
better with their restaurant on the beach. Compared to others, (Casa
del Mar, Playa Linda, Costa Linda, etc.) it needs polishing with better
service with their waitstaff, and better food. The waitstaff also never
had a happy face on, unlike any other resort we've stayed at in Aruba.
We've been coming for over 15 yrs. We ate most lunches when we were
beaching it at Casa del Mar, because it was far better & the service was
better (with a smile). Other than that, the stay was great. We're
heading back this Oct, to ABC & we're hoping to see old & new friends.
We tried to buy when we were there last Oct., but could not secure a
week that we were interested in. So we'll keep looking, as this resort is
well worth buying into.
