Timbers is a wonderful location close to Yellowstone and Henrys Lake. Our children love the recreation center with pool, hot tub, and sauna. We love the mountains, rivers, sunsets and close proximity to Yellowstone. We drive at sunset to see the Big Springs and hope to catch a glimpse of moose, elk, or deer. We enjoy the full kitchen, cozy up to the fireplace and surrounding beauty! Sam Patch Grocery is super close and has Canadian Vanilla ice cream, a real treat.

We love this resort! It's so close to Yellowstone park and the staff is so friendly and helpful. We enjoyed sitting out in the evening and watching the sun set. The condo was fully equipped and comfortable. Close to so many outdoor activities and easy in and out to Yellowstone.

Island Park Idaho is a very small, rural, quiet community located 22 miles from West Yellowstone, which is the main entrance to Yellowstone Park. Our unit #169 was totally remodeled in the Spring of 2024: Gutted to the walls, then installed new flooring, kitchen, bathroom, and furniture. If you are a snowmobile type, you can park your snowmobile next to the front door of the individual units.

We have owned a 2 bedroom unit at Island Park Village (Timbers at Island Park Village) since 1977. Our week in early July is perfect for access to Yellowstone National Park, with the snow melted and the best weather. At 6000' this area has a short Summer. The new clubhouse offers a pool, hot tub, fitness room, sauna, etc. Our 2nd floor unit is on the golf course with a great view (the buildings have two units downstairs and one upstairs. The Overall Rating we selected is due to the units needing some updates which are in progress at Timbers, our unit is scheduled for 2024.

My rating is 4.5 stars but there is no way to put a floating pt. number. This place is certainly not a Hyatt but it's far from being a dump either.

We *love* the location and the easy drive to Yellowstone. Island Park in itself is very beautiful. We're certainly beach lovers and swimmers but we did not go to the Yellowstone area to swim :) So, a pool being there or not will not sway my review either way.

Stayed here during the eclipse weekend on an exchange. The place was fully booked per the cordial check-in staff but we did not feel crowded. We took easy drive to Mesa Falls, Big Springs, Quake Lake, and of course to Yell-NP from Island Park Village. Driving was always a breeze (and fun) until the day of the eclipse but we can not blame that on the resort.

Unit was a 1BR/1Ba on the ground floor overlooking the golf course from the patio. It's very clean and very well-kept. There is a slow cooker, toaster, and a trash compactor among other usual kitchen things.

I wish they would have provided more pillows for the bedroom and maybe for the convertible couch-bed but the recently-renovated full kitchen made up for that.

I would rent/exchange again to this place in a heartbeat.

No pool. No place nearby worth swimming either.

Pool is removed totally, pipes, plumbing - no pool due to fight between condo and timeshare groups as to who pays what.

What you see in the picture is gone.

Golf, BBQ, or drive ATV around but don't expect to go swimming.

No Air Conditioner either - (fan was provided).

We visited the week before Christmas. Four feet of snow on the ground when we got there, another foot the next day. We went snowshoeing right out the door to the deck! Loved the relaxed pace. Staff was friendly and helpful. We'd go again.

Very nice resort. Good restaurants nearby. Beautiful location just a short drive from Yellowstone National Park. Many other attractions are also close by. Buildings and grounds are well maintained. Nice club house with indoor pool. Staff was friendly and helpful. It is a nice place to get away from the crowds in the park and in West Yellowstone.

We purchased a late summer week and look forward to coming back every year.

I found this resort to be clean, well-equipped, quiet, and convenient to sights and shopping. It also has a clubhouse with an exercise room, heated pool, baby pool, two hot tubs, sauna, racquetball court, and a ping-pong table.

It has good snow in February for snowmobiling on numerous groomed trails. You can also snowmobile with a guide in Yellowstone Park. Skiing is available in Montana at Big Sky.
