We own and stay at this resort each year. We
also have 2 additional time shares at other
resorts that we trade or bank. The units are
very spacious, comfortable, and quiet - do not
hear much noise from neighbors - walking,
talking, TV, etc. - walls are very well insulated.
Great family get-a-way - lots of places to go
for entertainment or just stay and relax
around either pool - indoor or outdoor
(heated). Children love it. From toddlers to
teenagers to young adults (we have each) to
middle-age, there is plenty to keep everyone
excited. Take your bikes along - ground is flat
so makes for easy leisure riding. The beach is
about 1/4 mile away - better to drive over
than walk - parking has not been a problem.
We usually go in late April early May - water is
comfortable. It is less crowded at this time of
year, but usually everything is open.
No one should ever say they are hungary or
cannot find a good place to eat. We have
tried every type of food and restaurant,
cannot find one we did not like. Dinner shows
are great and an experience - Dixie Stampede
and Medival Times. If not interested in eating
your whole dinner with your fingers while
watching a show, Captain Dave's will provide
you with the utinsils which may make you feel
more comfortable. Either way, you will find
fantastic food.
Golf is a little pricey on-site, but with all the
golf courses in the area, can easily find one
that fits your pocketbook.
We do prefer the layout of the older units
versus the new ones. Access to the rear and
deck are off the living areas versus the
bedrooms as in the new units.
However, in either unit, you will find your
vacation relaxing and enjoyable - and never
want it to end.
Have fun and God Bless
