What does oceanfront mean?
Oceanfront is one of 4 buildings but it is rotated by floors each year
for owners.

If you own a deeded week that says "Ocean Front" you are indeed entitled
to the Ocean Front suites. Interestingly, your confirmation for 2020 will
show "Close to Beach". No idea why. It didn't used to be this way. I'm

If you own a deeded week that says "Ocean Front" you are indeed entitled
to the Ocean Front suites. Interestingly, your confirmation for 2020 will
show "Close to Beach". No idea why. It didn't used to be this way. I'm
thinking that Marriott farmed out some work to an overseas firm and in
their language reinterpreted Ocean Front as Close to Beach. Marriott
really need to fix this as it is very disconcerting.

Marriott's Grande Ocean does not guarantee ocean-view units. Views are
categorized by the resort as either Courtyard or Close To Beach.
