There are no guarantees. You need to call in to reserve your time as soon
as your time becomes available, either 12 or 13 months in advance.
Generally speaking, it is fairly safe to say you should be able to
reserve a week within the floating weeks. The difficult part is trying to
reserve more than a week consecutively for the weeks in the unit and its
location that you may want. Also, much has to do with the specific
resort. Some are more popular and therefore times will be taken sooner
and more often than others. We have been owners since 2005 at a very
popular Marriott Florida resort and can say it is not a slam dunk.
Reserving a time when you may want takes both a little luck and
persistence. However, if you are flexible as to the times you want you
should find it very easy.

I see in the answers below. But if i purchase a deeded week and it is
floating does that mean i have to reserve a certain week as early as
possible? I'd there a chance to get blacked out at all, or am i
guaranteed at least a week amongst the floating weeks?

No promises can be made. It's important to call in to secure your spot as
soon as it opens up, which could be either 12 or 13 months ahead of time.

The term "medium season" can refer to various contexts, but it typically
denotes a transitional period in a specific cycle, such as fashion,
agriculture, or entertainment. It doesn't inherently relate to gold.
