Stayed here june 2004. Location, location,
location is what rates this a 4 star. On a
beautiful sandy spot, nice area to walk around
nearby with shops and restaurants, and a close
taxi or drive to the street market and airport.
Resort is European, with few Americans
travelling there so decor is sparse, but very
adequate. Unit had a kitchen totally suitable
for cooking meals. Resort is quiet, even though
it has a few hundred rooms. Guadeloupe is quite
a paradise with numerous waterfalls
with 'natural swirling whirlpools', fantastic
French food, and people are very friendly.
Feels more like you are in Provence/south of
France, than in the Caribbean. Roads are 1st
rate for driving, paved and well marked with
signs.
