Inverness at South Padre Reviews & Ratings

We stayed in a (non-smoking) Unit # 909. Besides the location itself, which is right on the beach, everything else was a major disappointment. Drawers came off the hinges, ceiling cracks which leaked water all over the kitchen countertops, extremely low ceilings, poor furnishings, dirty floors and beds, appliances that only half worked, etc.

The grounds isn't to be desired for, either. There isn't any pretty landscaping outside of the resort. Make sure you don't walk barefoot or let your pets loose. There are stickers everywhere in the grass!!

On a more positive (and only) note: the staff was nice and friendly and the location can't be beat.

We have been timeshare owners since 1998 (not at this resort, thank goodness). This is by far the worst timeshare exchange we've ever encountered during all of our timesharing years. We will NOT be staying at this resort again. There are many other resorts in the South Padre Island area. We would rather choose a hotel than stay at the Inverness.

Older condos right on the beach with large balcony. Very clean with helpful staff.

We love our timeshare! We simply cannot go due to a busy summer schedule this year and I’m super bummed! Walking distance to great beach front bars and seafood! Condo is immediately on the beach with amazing views of the sunrise directly over the water. The condo is always clean and well organized. Towels, linens, and essential cookware included. Can’t ask for a better location on SPI!

Great location right on the beach on the Gulf side. Clean and well maintained rooms. Pleasant and attentive staff.

We will stay at Inverness South Padre again.

Great resort, great people that work there! Can't beat the view also!
