Tucked along the shores of Cape Cod, the Ocean Club on Smuggler's Beach is a beautiful vacation spot for the entire family. Situated on Nantucket Sound, you can enjoy the sights and sounds of the beach, as well as plenty of amenities designed to enhance your stay, including a glass-enclosed pool with retractable roof, hot tub, fitness center, sundeck, grilling area, scheduled activities program, private beach and more! Unit 36 is a fixed-week 2-bedroom with a big living room and balcony facing the ocean, giving terrific views of the beach and the kite-surfing area next to Bass River. Week 9 is in March which is a nice quiet time on Cape Cod, and with a little luck you get beautiful spring weather!

Location is everything for this resort. No drive to the beach or fees to park your car. The units are admittedly small and suitable for a couple or small family. There is only a partial kitchen but there are plenty of restaurants in all price ranges close by. Almost every unit has ocean views. The glass enclosed pool makes you feel like you are on a cruise ship on the ocean. The resort is currently getting ready to refurbish all of the units but they are still very nice. Each unit is bright and decorated in the Cape Cod cottage theme. We stayed here in September - no crowds, very quiet, warm ocean temperatures. The resort is open year round except January. Each unit has a gas fireplace and in room jacuzzi which makes for a cozy winter escape also. The location is also convenient for daytrips to Martha's Vineyard, Nantucket, Plymouth, Providence and more. A car is necessary for this area. The staff is very dedicated to making you feel at home. Most are long term employees and enjoy their jobs. Planned activities are mostly for children and require a small fee for materials.

Excellent casual beach resort on a great Cape Cod beach. Friendly staff that have been here for years. Has won RCI Silver Award for many years. June and September are the best times of the year at Cape Cod.

Love this Oceanfront beach location in Cape Cod. This is located on a long 1+ mile long sandy beach. A lot of natural beauty but sooo close to markets, restaurants, music, mini golf, boating etc. Hyannis is 10 minutes away. The water at this beach is warm and very swimmable. The rooms are comfortable and tasteful. The heated outdoor pool and hot tub area is enclosed in a glass beachfront enclosure with has bbq grills and glass wall for sunning. This resort abuts a town beach with a snack / lunch shack.

We have been going to Cape Cod for 25 years and have been a owner at the Ocean Club since it was built and love staying here right at the ocean. We have so many great memories we will cherish forever!

My favorite home away from home. Nothing is more relaxing than a week on the Cape!!

We rented a suite in May of 2021 through a travel site by chance, and absolutely fell in love with this hidden gem. The suites are updated, well-appointed and clean. Almost every suite has a sunrise view of the ocean. Everywhere on site was clean. We love the off-the-beaten-path location, the heated inground pool under a glass dome, the glassed patio, private beach and the entire stretch around it. The overall condition of the property, and the longevity of the majority of the staff we met, spoke volumes for the management of the OC. We look forward to every minute we get to spend there.

The Ocean Club is a wonderful resort. It is located right on the Nantucket Sound. You can sit on the beach or up on the deck, where there are large glass panels to block any wind. It is a smaller resort with a family friendly atmosphere and a personal touch.

The Ocean Club was completely renovated in 2011. The rooms are brand new and quite luxurious, each 1 BR unit divides into two sleeping areas with 1 queen and 1 sleeper sofa. Each has 2 flat screen TVs, fireplace, granite countertops, newly tiled bathrooms, tiled floors, all new soft goods in tasteful cape colors. Guests share a glass-covered pool right on the ocean, hot tub, sauna, fitness gym, private beach and wind-protected ocean-front patio. The 2BR units have full kitchens and private hot tubs. Of course the one thing that didn't change was the spectacular ocean view.

The Ocean Club at Smuggler's Beach Is the Cape and the Sea at its Best. Walk out from your unit directly onto a clean and sparkling beach, with its beautiful waters, or recline on the patio deck, enclosed by glass. Units completely renovated as of summer of 2011. Very nice, more spacious, including all new floors, walls, furniture, bathrooms, and kitchenette areas, with microwaves, toasters, coffee machines, and refrigerators. The gas fireplaces remain. Immaculate. Private beach, nice enclosed deck with gazebo. Near all mid Cape activities. We were very happy with our stay, just a couple of days ago, and hated to leave. Perfect ocean resort.

The resort was very comfortable, perfect for a cozy couple or 1 person alone, a family would be cramped, I thought, at least in the one bedroom unit.

The buildings are older, but clean and well maintained. The wind deck is perfect, allows you to be on the beach in situations you normally would run for cover from the chilly wind. I'd definitely return.

If you are looking for a waterfront property on the Cape, this is the best. Staff is consistently fabulous, close to town (especially the Pancake Man and Cuffy's!) yet overlooks the water. We have owned for several years, will not consider anyplace else. Daily activities for kids, safe, calm beach.

This is perhaps the best oceanside resort on the cape. Location is great and staff is friendly.

However, as a resort it lacks a great deal. Units are small and without kitchens. Your view depends on your unit - only a few have good views.

White sand beaches & "true" oceanfront on the cape are hard to find but this one has it. 1 bedrooms are a little small but the 2 bedroom was a nice size. Some rooms have a limited view and some have fantastic views. The resort has a nice oceanfront pool (indoor in winter). The South Yarmouth area is full of shops and restaurants but you will need to drive as all is within a few miles. We love the off season here due to the beachfront pool, gas fireplaces, great views and no lines like in the summer. All boats to the islands are minutes away. South Yarmouth sits in a central location on the West Coast of the Cape so all areas of the Cape are a short easy drive.

These units are ocean side, which makes them a rare commodity in Cape Cod, though most units do not have a great ocean view. Because of local by laws there are only a few full kitchens but a community kitchen is provided if you care to go down the hall to heat your food. The units are very small, and becoming somewhat worn. The proximity to stores, restaurants etc. is super. Not 5* for sure but a solid 3*

Units are comparatively small, but well appointed and clean 2-rm suites with in-room jacuzzi, gas fireplace. Personnel are friendly & helpful. Excellent location in central part of cape, on warm water side, less than an hour to any other cape area or ferries to Martha's Vineyard or Nantucket.
