Sunburst Resort Reviews & Ratings

Great resort and office staff. We travel a lot and had a chance to ski in different areas of the country. This resort is very close to the slopes and also offers a shuttle bus to/ from the mountain. It also offer a short walking distance that we found invigorating every time we stayed here, and that is every time we went to Steamboat. The two bedroom condo we used is very spacious and designed so that two families couples can have their own privacy and still share the living room. Very nice especially if coming with friends or having teenagers! Kudos!

Have been to this resort for the past 3 years. Rooms are clean and kitchen is well-appointed. Historic downtown of Steamboat is just minutes away. Tons of outdoor activities are available. We typically enjoy bike riding and hiking.

Staff goes out of their way to help you. There is a phone number for after hours check in. Units are very clean. The beds are wonderful and you get a good night sleep. Location is on the mountain and close to to the free bus stop. Easy to get to and very quiet location. These units are older but are in very good condition. The 3 bedroom unit with loft that we stayed in was very roomy. You can put 8 people easy with the couch and not be crowded. Having 3 bathrooms is amazing in any condo. We love it here and go every year. Downhill skiing is fabulous and the cross country skiing is some of the best in town and in the pass. You can't beat this place for the price. The best fun place is Rex's Bar in the Holiday Inn at the bottom of the hill. Specials every day!

We stayed there 9/30 -10/7/06 in a 3BR, 3BA unit with loft. The unit had a lot of rich looking cherry and other wood finishes. When you enter the unit you are in an area where you can hang up jackets, skis, etc. That area has a second door into the unit so that you don't let cold air blow into it! The inner door had a very attractive stained glass pattern.

Sunburst is close to downtown Steamboat Springs and surrounding ski areas.

While we were there they were doing a major renovation of units in advance of the ski season.

I highly recommend Sunburst and would not hesitate in staying there again.

We stayed here to ski Thanksgiving week - the units are SPECTACULAR! Our 2 bedroom plus loft was huge; the skiing was great. This condominium is just down the street from the lift, and the shuttle bus stops on the corner.

The hot tub on the property is a great way to unwind. The loft has beautiful view of the mountain.

We stayed at the Sunburst Condominiums over a January weekend. The skiing in this part of Colorado is incredible. The two bedroom with a loft is plenty of room with a large family room and fireplace. The spa area is well maintained and barely used. The staff is wonderful as well as friendly and helpful. Skiers and shoppers can catch the Steamboat shuttle (free) right out the doors of the condos. This is a great place to stay.
