I love this resort for both winter and summer. Summer there is golf, bike trails, water park and many local quaint restuarants.

Winter there is an ice rink in Sunriver, lots of restuarants open and Mt. Bachelor Ski resort where you can also snow mobile.

The resort is very nice with a clubhouse equipped with a pool, hot tub, seating area, gym and video arcade for kids.

Come and see why Sunriver is such a fun year round destination!

Spent 2 nights. Love the bikes paths. Two free bikes came with unit. Enjoyed touring the nearby state park, Lava Butte. Open only in summer months. Some easy, entertaining hikes. Sat thru the most laid back presentation ever, no pressure at all. Would be glad to spend more time here. Oh, their $5 pancake breakfast was a great deal. Now, if only the weather had been better. Cold and cloudy for mid-June.

We stayed in Jan 10, and June 09 with our grown kids and grandkids.

We own at the PInes and have been vacationing there for over 25 years. We like it OK, but it is not a luxury vacation, just a comfortable, family place to stay. There is no air conditioning in the summer (unless you get to stay in Kittyhawk which we prefer) and the pool is a little cool for us.

There is not a lot to do outside of summer because they did not have a recreation program for most of the year. Also we were quite disappointed that the snow was melting and was slushy--no fault of the mgt! We always have a nice, family time, but also prefer to go other places for our week, which might be a little more upscale! Our grown kids and grandkids do like the resort.

We own a timeshare at The Pines in Sunriver and have enjoyed this fantastic vacation spot for many years. We love moving into our condo and never having to get into the car the entire week. You can bicycle to Sunriver Village in 5 minutes for groceries, morning coffee, miniature golf, ice cream at Goodies, lots of restaurants, bike rental shops, and plenty of shopping for both the gals and guys.

July and August are our favorite months because we love the hot, sunny days and cool evenings, though winter is great for skiing at Mount Bachelor.

Our days typically include morning runs, tanning around the pool, and then more exercise canoeing or rafting on the Deschutes river, tennis, road or mountain biking on the miles and miles of safe, paved paths (great for all ages of kids), or more vigorous mountain biking off the pavement into the hills.

The Pines is next to the Sunriver Lodge so great golf is just a 4 minute walk away and our teens take in the evening dances later in the week.

We started taking our kids when they were little and they still love it as teens. We hope you have the opportunity to love it too!
