Deerhurst Resort Reviews & Ratings

We go every summer to Deerhurst Resort. Availability is limited. Its what a truly luxurious vacation is all about. The units are very large, well maintained, king bed, good kitchen and modern appliances, dining room and separate living room. Each unit has a screened in balcony over the water. 2 TVs (one in bedroom), stereo and DVD player. Fireplace.

The main building is a hotel and there are several restaurants on the property. Beautiful landscaped grounds. Several pools on the property. Service is excellent. If anything goes wrong they are right on top of it.

There are two BBQs for timeshare owners only. There is also a private dock for timeshares. This resort is known to be one of the best golf courses in Canada. Lots of varied beach activities for kids. Also Tennis, squash, boating, sailing etc. And of course Golf. They have a wonderful stage show each night. There are excellent walking paths for those who like quiet time walking through woods. Main town is a few minutes away with good shopping. Once you try it you'll want to come back each year.

I own week 38 here and although the weather can be rainy at this time of year, the indoor tennis, basketball, raquetball... shall I go on. The executive lakeside course rivals many public courses and of course the highlands, lets just say, you better hit a straight ball! Our 2 bedroom has a jacuzzi bath in the master with a fireplace and a beautiful view of the lake right out the balcony. You must try this resort. If you can get in.... there are less than 30 units.

An excellent resort for the family,lots of activities. This is the best resort we have stayed in beating Orange Lake in Florida which was awsome. The Sing show had all the qualities of a Nevada night show,very entertaining.

Deerhurst resort is truley what gold crown is all about, my favorite feature is the indoor tennis during winter months. Deerhust resort stands out from the others when it come to the summer due to a great location on the water. Lots of activities and great family fun with live entertainment thrown in on the deal. The units at this resort are not as nice as others we have stayed in Ontario like Carriage hills or Muskoka sands. Deerhust resort is a must see at least once. Summer is hard to get in due to the owners staying at the resort.
