Lake Okanagan Resort Reviews & Ratings

We have been going to Lake Okanagan Resort since 1996 and we love it there. When our children were younger we would go hiking, swimming , play tennis and golf and take part in the many children’s Activities. We always brought our boat with us and they all enjoyed wake boarding and finding great spots to put the anchor down and go to shore to explore.We would also always take the boat into Kelowna for a day trips. This year we can’t make it to Lake Okanagan Resort.

Lake Okanagan Resort is located on beautiful Lake Okanagan in British Columbia. This 3 bedroom suite is large and comfortable for a family with a well stocked kitchen. A children's playground is just steps away from the patio. There is a hot tub and swimming pool plus the beach for great family fun. A nine hole golf course and tennis courts at your disposal. There are trails through the forest to explore.

The Okanagan is a world class grape growing area and there are many beautiful wineries to visit within an easy drive, several with award wining restaurants. Enjoy a relaxing fun vacation with your family in this beautiful resort!

Lake Okanagan Resort is situated amidst 300 acres of natural parkland on the shores of Lake Okanagan. This destination Resort features an executive par three golf courses, tennis courts, full service marina, beach, first class dining, full size heated pool and hot tub, as well as miles of hiking and birding trails plus extensive summer activity programs. The area boasts over twenty wineries as well as numerous championship length golf courses, all within easy driving distance of Kelowna and Vernon. Three downhill ski facilities are just over an hour's drive away.

We were here on Nov 14-22, 2007. The place is not bad, our unit has balcony that has the best view of the lake. I love Okanagan. Lots of wineries to explore, fresh fruits in season and I am hoping someday i will see OGOPOGO, the lake monster. The only problem here is road to the resort, you will be driving to the winding narrow road for about 30 minutes to get to the resort from the main road of Kelowna. The facilities are alright...but do not eat in their restaurant from the resort, unless you want to waste your $$$..coz the food is not good. The unit has complete kitchenette and you can prepare your own meals if you have time or go to downtown where there are lots of food places to go.

This is an absolutely beautiful part of Canada and the location is perfect. Unfortunately the unit we had was not the best we have had. All the appliances were old and not totally functioning and we had a ceiling leak in the main bedroom on the one day it rained. Definitely needs to do some upgrading. Staff were excellent.

Great destination resort. Lots to do on site and only a short drive to all the activities of the Okanagan Valley, Kelowna and Penticton. Units are very comfortable & have a full kitchen & balcony with beautiful view of the lake. On site restaurants are very good. Main dining room is appropriate for special dinners, they have a top chef. Tennis, golf, horses, a marina & PADI dive center are all on the property. It's also a location for Okanagan Wine Festival events and makes a fine base for wine touring.
