Whistler Vacation Club at Lake Placid Lodge Reviews & Ratings

We have stayed at this resort multiple times and LOVE the location! Just steps from Whistler's Creekside Gondola and ski lessons for kids, walkable to groceries, coffee, and restaurants. Just enough to do without the craziness of Whistler Village itself (though I do recommend driving into Whistler Village to experience it and do some shopping). Lake Placid Lodge has all the amenities we need and the pool/hot tub is wonderful no matter the time of year. I love the loft bedroom in the 2 bedroom units!

This location is across the street and up a few stairs from the Creekside lifts. Fabulous location with all of the new shops and amenities in the Creekside village.

Location can’t be beat. It is steps away from the Creekside Gondola, valley trail, dinning and groceries. Clean and comfortable. It has everything you need for a nice holiday.

My family has been going here almost every year since 1994, when my dad retired. My dad and I would hike all day, while my mom relaxed in the lodge and enjoyed evenings out to dinner. There is so much scenery just within walking distance. Lake Placid is on the edge of town, so it was a bit more quiet, but getting into the main area was always easy, via bus, car or walking.

Excellent location at the base of the Gondola at Creekside. The unit is in a quiet location unlike most units in the villlage, but there are grocery stores, food and supplies available within walking distance. The units are clean, with full kitchen, laundry, outdoor pool and jacuzzi. Couldn't be any better.

Great place to stay. The rooms were clean and the staff was very helpful. (note, the staff is offsite in the summer at another resort in the village) The kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Easy acces to Whistler Village, with a little mini village next door.

EXCELLENT place to enjoy Whistler skiing. We enjoyed the easy access to the new gondola at the base of Whistler Mtn (Just outside the door across the parking lot!!). There is a small village for all your needs very close by. You can ski out / go up Whitler - switch over to Blackcombe and ski down to the main village. You'll enjoy the Hot Tub and all the amenities. We love this place!

Quiet Creekside location, pool, sauna, jacuzzi tub. Walk to Creekside shops, restaurants, trails. No village noise at night.......nice!
