Can you swim at the beach?

Most of the time, Black Flag warnings are posted on the beach due to Rip Tides. However, there are 7 heated pools on the property including 2 infinity pools (overlooking the Sea of Cortez), an activities pool, a pool with a swim-up bar, and a kids pool with water fountains and slide.

Very seldom are the waves safe enough to allow for swimming. There is most often a black flag that keeps people out of the water. The riptide is strong there and there's a big drop-off when entering the water.

As is the case with other resorts in the area, swimming is not possible due to dangerous currents and riptides.
