I stayed at Moness in April 06 in a 2 bedroom cottage with my family and we all really enjoyed it. The kitchen and living area were upstairs with nothing in front of the cottage so there was a wonderful view across the valley.

The resort has good leisure facilities with the sports hall being set up for different activities each day. The grounds are very well kept.

Moness would make an ideal touring base for anyone wanting to explore Perthshire with potential visits to Glasgow/Edinburgh/Balmoral/Aviemore/Invern ess.

We stayed here for a week in November 2006. There were three of us (all adults) in a one bedroom cottage, which provided ample space. We loved the resort location which allowed for many day trips throughout Scotland including Edinburgh, Loch Ness, St. Andrews and Stirling.

The cottage was two levels with the bedroom and bathroom on the entry level and the living room and kitchen on the upper. My mother-in- law had the upstairs sleeper sofa and said it was very comfy.

The resort also had a decent restaurant, where we dined twice for dinner.

I would not hesitate to stay here again!

Furnishings and carpeting could do with an overhaul, and the floors squeaked with every step. The grounds are well kept though. The village of Aberfeldy is a good touring base for seeing the sights of Scotland. A must see is the Dewer's Distillery and the drive along Loch Tay is a narrow, hair-raising experience but with great views around every corner.
