Shearwater Country Club is in one of the most scenic places I stayed in and close to the beautiful north west coast of Tasmania. Central to the world heritage Cradle Mountain, abound with rivers, lakes and beaches. Ideal for good fishing such as trout and big game fish.

The resort was clean and spacious and a lot of fun with the locals. Lots of water sports on the Rubincon river and golf was a treat on a excellent course. The weather was refreshing 20 degrees and warmer than expected down in Tassie.

I fully recommend anyone spending some time at the Resort. A.W.M

Our rooms were faily basic, but clean and practical. The Club had good facilities, very good if you play golf. Some scope for refurbishment. The club was virtually the only night life in Port Sorell- a VERY quiet resort within "Coo-ee" of the sea.
