We have been to this hotel 3 times. This is a great resort because it is a perfect size. Not too big, not too small. Most rooms face the water. The beach is very clean and great for walking as far as you would like. The surf is just great for boogie boarding. The service is excellent. We loved the restaurants. Asian, Steakhouse, Mexican, buffet, pool side snack area, pool side pizza oven. Romantic dinner on the beach is THE BEST. Beautiful sunsets. Rooms are contemporary in décor and very comfortable. 24 hour room service is included. I would recommend this hotel to all ages.

This resort is my favorite of many I have visited in Mexico. Yes, it has less of the agrivating, noisy, 'entertainment", but it has enough. The employees are all wonderful, the food is excellent, the jacuzzi rooms are great, the spa fabulous, the grounds and pools are beautiful. The price is right. The only need to leave the resort, none, unless you crave crowding, noise, third rate shopping, etc.

In my opinion only one thing needs changing and that is to add a larger variety of food. The quality and quantity is already just fine. Since Palace has only owned this completely refurbished resort for a year they will upgrade the variety soon.

Now that this resort is a Palace Resort it is definitely five stars. Beautiful accommodations, lots of activities, great service. It is an all inclusive but well worth the money if you drink alcohol. Included in the price are two tours, entertainment at the resort, and transfers to and from the airport. The beach is lovely and there are three large pools. The rooms are beauatiful with a great bed and luxurious linens and room service. We had a wonderful week at this resort.
