Westgate Branson Lakes Reviews & Ratings

This is a gated community/resort for safety and is located next to a lake. Also, very close to Branson and all the attractions. We love this resort!!!

This was the first time share we bought and is still a favorite. In the two bedroom, two bath lock-off there are two full kitchens and laundry facilities as well. Together, they sleep 8 or 4 each when used separately. The "larger half" has a porch overlooking Table Rock Lake which is lovely.

We last stayed at Emerald Pointe in January 2003, Not high season in Branson--which has some advantages! It is a pretty fair distance from the "strip", but this makes it more tranquil. We didn't get to try out the new outdoor pool area (with waterfall) but it looks like a major upgrade. The original outdoor pool has been inclosed, so it is now available all seasons.

Westgate has recently taken over this resort which was a Grandvista. We have not stayed there since the changeover, so I hesitate to comment on activities or other things that may well have changed. It may well deserve 5 stars!

We've stayed at this resort several times. It offers a panaromic view of Table Rock Lake. A nice drive to Branson's theaters--about 12 miles from the strip, but the drive offers some spectacular views of the Ozarks--in any season.

Be sure to book a "b" unit, which has the view of the lake and offers the larger size. Most RCI trades are put in "a" units which are smaller and do not have the view. To avoid this problem, book 2 bedroom, which offers a combination of both "a" and "b", with two full kitchens, living areas, etc.
