First time visitor—questions! 1. Is transport (taxi) from airport to resort readily available if we aren’t renting a car? 2. Are there grocery stores within walking distance? 3. Any must-do excursions for families with young adult kids?

We rented a car and it was well worth it. Very safe to drive in Aruba and the island is long so cab rides can get expensive.

Taxis are easily available at the airport even during peak hours. Uber/Lyft are not allowed in Aruba so the taxis are plentiful. They gladly accept American money and will give you the price in US if you ask.
