What are the resort's pool policies regarding outside food and beverage?

Frequent visitor here - no one ever says anything about food and beverage being consumed at the pool, whether purchased from the resort or brought from your room. No glass containers.

According to the front desk representative, food and beverages are not allowed on the pool deck.

Food and beverage must be purchased from the resort when using the pool. Coolers are nut allowed, I have never been questioned when bringing in a Yetii cup
