Having stayed at the Park Royal Acapulco in
November 2005, I would rate this as a four
star
resort. You don't have the unnecessary
luxury
of a five star resort (like waterfalls in the
swimming pool) but the cost to stay here is
much
lower and more affordable for families. The
Park Royal is nestled in the mountains on
Acapulco Bay, so you can swim in the ocean or
in
one of two pools. The big pool has a swim-up
bar,snack bar and full service restaurant
poolside. There are two other restaurants on-
site to choose from and we found the food,
staff
and service to be very good. The resort hotel
rooms are very clean. There is also a nice bar
and lounge area in the lobby with a gorgeous
mountain view - a great place to unwind at
night. There is lots to do and see in and
around Acapulco. We had a really nice
vacation
here and will come again.
