We just returned from an April 7-night stay and a Toyota Corolla (Avis)through Costco Travel ended up with all the local charges after returningit with a FULL tank of gas: $840. Next time we will use the taxis becauseparking off-site is very scarce (unless you like Wendys).

Completely agree. I have always rented cars and last year Hertz did areserve and switch increasing rate by 3x the reservation price. Wedecided to try taxis, saved us over 1k and spent a total of 200.00 forthe entire week and did and saw everything we wanted. We now only do dayrentals when absolutely needed. Otherwise, Taxis were great!
