Shanty Creek has done a lot of updating in the past few years and looks amazing! Five onsite golf courses and more across the street. Onsite restaurants, tennis, pickleball, biking, playground, health club, etc. But the lake and mountain views are spectacular! So much to do on the resort and also in the town of Bellaire with almost daily summertime outdoor music at the Shorts outdoor venue. The after golf/boating parties are awesome! It’s like the whole town of Bellaire parties with you!

Shanty Creek Resorts offer an excellent stay in Northern Michigan with access to the outdoors all year round. Golf, skiing and snowmobiling, The Cherry Festival, Shopping, Boating and fishing and many local restaurants and pubs. It's a playground for families all year round.

We live in Orlando and vacation at Shanty Creek every summer since we are from Michigan.

You cannot beat the Cedar River Village with the exceptional amenities of a World Class Resort. We enjoy staying and playing on the Cedar River Course by Tom Weiskopf. The winter snowsports are right at your door, as well, should you prefer that season.
