At GTL, I stayed in Building 7, and there are three options from Bldg 7.
First, walk 1 min to the shuttle and wait up to 15 min to take a 2 minute
ride to the very busy Beaver Run Superchair. Second, walk 3 minutes
towards the ski rental shop on the resort where there is a little bunny
slope to ski/board down for 15 sec, then walk 5 min to the very busy
Beaver Run Superchair. Third option, walk 5 min through the resort pass
Building 2 to the Snowflake Trail, then ski/board down <1min to the very
unbusy Snowflake Chair. To ski/board back...any of the above in reverse,
for the most part.

The resort website states you are able to ski in/ski out. For Peak 8, you
can walk down the driveway of the resort to the Grand Timber Lodge sign
in front of Building 1, cross the street, step into your bindings and ski
a short distance down to the Snowflake Chairlift. For Peak 9, walk to the
south end of Building 5, put on your skis, ski 50 yards, take off your
skis and walk 140 paces to the Beaver Run SuperChair.
