I have been going to Powder Ridge since I was about 10 years old. It has such a homey and cabin-like feel. We love it as a family! We love taking games and going for hikes looking all of Mother Nature’s different surprises and getting out of the rest of the world. Powder Ridge is secluded. It’s perfect for a trip to read books, watch movies and just get closer as a family. My kids always ask when are we going again. Even the adult children! We have the best memories of being together and playing.

Step out of the main building onto a well groomed trail and the mountain is your oyster. Snow was incredible. Hardly any lift lines. Lift tickets reasonably priced. Wide variety of runs, all in magnificent mountain setting. If you are into powder, a snowcat can take you up the mountain for $20, not far from the heli-skiers are dropped off. Snowbasin and Wolf ski resorts are a short drive away for variety. Our three bedroom condo was very well equipped, full size kitchen all the way to garlic press and potato masher. Flat screen tv in the living room and two more in the bedrooms. Wifi in room is a nice recent addition. Ski lockers downstairs for convenince. Nice heated olympic size pool and 3 hot tubs in the mail lodge building, along with a game room, gym and ski rental place.

Powder Mountain in one of the most awesome ski destinations in the USA. The accomodations are more than adequate with a fireplace in all condos. The staff is outstanding. The New lodge is awesome with indoor heated swimming pool, large jacuzzi, wading pool for kids, game room, pool table, exercise facility, basketball court, catering kitchen, ski shop which sells lift tickets, mini market with video rentals, and check-in and information desk.

If you want to escape the hustle and bustle of Park City, long lines at Restaurants, and the desperate rush to find a parking space, then Powder Ridge Village is for you. Powder Ridge Village is for people who want to ski their legs off. IF nightlife is your thing, then stay somewhere else; even though you will be missing out on the best powder in the USA.

There are several Restaurants down the mountain within a 20 to 45 minute drive for those who don't want to cook in the condos. A Grocery store is about 15 minutes down the mountain in Eden. Stock up for the week, get in your 4WD vehicle and head up the mountain for the greatest skiing of your life.

Lines at the lifts are non-existent, fresh untracked powder everywhere you look. Affordable ski-cat rides ($10 / person in 2008),New high-speed quad, heli-skiing for the adventurous, night skiing, terrain park with half pipe, kite skiing area (only place in Utah for kite skiing), and more than 113 trails. Someone in a review below stated that the mountain was small. (Powder Mountain is larger than Vail) I think they must have been referring to the size of the resort, even though the units themselves are quite spacious. Powder Mountain has the most skiable terrain in Utah; more than any other Resort in Utah. This is really the most awesome ski destination. Family friendly and yet a great destination for a Romantic Valentines, Honeymoonor Anniversary getaway . Take a chance and book a week at Powder Mountain. One trip and you will return year after year! We discovered Powder Mountain on a fluke when we needed to use a Timeshare week which was about to expire. Powder Mountain was the only place available in the RCI system at that time, so we took it not knowing what to expect. We loved Powder Mountains awesome skiing and now return for 4 to 6 weeks every year... 5 years and counting... Thank goodness we took a chance on Powder Mountain. Our lives will be forever changed by our yearly Powder Mountain Vacations. If you are lucky enough to find a week at Powder Mountain, RESERVE IT!!!

Great place for skiing. As of Dec 2008 - the pool room is not available due to a sheetrock problem in the pool room. The contractors are currently in there (I am using the wireless in the lobby as I type the review). Should be ready by end of January 2009.

Skiing at Powder Mountain is superb - it is a great family area, plus great back-country skiing for a minimal amount of hiking. Terrain is not as challlenging as Snowbird but still will provide you a fun time at a very reasonable price.

New community center finished 12/06 has new pool/jacuzzi/kids pool as well as foosball, pool table, arcade games. Very nice lounge/fireplace. First rate. There is also a convenience store for lite groceries as well as a good ski shop at the community center for rentals and other haberdashery.

Stayed here in March of 2004...the BEST Ski in Ski out access I have EVER had! We literally skied out the steps and on the slopes and skied back to the door when we were done.

Powder Mountain is not big but has UNBELIEVABLE POWDER!!! I have never seen so much snow. Highly recommend!

We went in the summer time. The mountain was nice, and the 3 bedroom unit we had was great. The Pool, buzzing phone, and other facilities left much to be desired. The pool was open, but smelled horible, had things growing in it etc. We decided to stay far away. Mid week they closed it down for maintenance. Because of that, we might go back again but don't plan on swimming without a water tesk kit in hand.
