Fontana Village Reviews & Ratings

We recently spent 3 nights at Fontana Village and were extremely disappointed! Our unit had filthy carpet, poor lighting, food at lodge was very overpriced, keys did not work upon our return 2 days, vending machines empty, etc., etc. We were the only ones in our entire building....and should've received a better unit.

Will NOT be going back, although the location is perfect!

Family oriented. Clean. Adjacent to Fontana Lake, Great Smoky Mtns. Nat. Pk., Nantahala Nat. Forest. Beautiful area.

Activities: 2 outdoor pools , 1 water slide, 1 indoor heated. Mini golf. Horse back riding. Square dancing. Fine restaurant. Country store, ice cream parlor. Hiking trails.

Fontana Village Is very hard to rate. If you like rustic but clean with lot's of activities it is a great place to stay.

The staff is very friendly and you will not find a shortage of things to do. The Marina offers a great selection of boats and tackle for rent, You can be picked up right at the resort for a day of whitwater rafting and there are numerouse activities for children.

We went there to ride motorcycles and whitewater raft. It is not as fancy as many resorts but the mountain views and serenity made up for that..
